Chuseok Series : Lotte Adventure World + Super Moon

Chuseok (추석) is the largest holiday in Korea. Since my friends and I don’t know what to do, and we are exchange students, we decided to go to Lotte World Adventure. Lotte World Adventure is one of theme park that located in Jamsil (Seoul, South Korea). Since it’s Chuseok, Lotte World Adventure had some special promotions, if you went there in a group, you just have to pay 20,000 KRW per person, which is way more cheaper, because usually it costs about 48,000 KRW per person.

In Lotte World Adventure, there are indoor and outdoor adventure park. My friends and I decided to look at the attractions in indoor side first. When we first came in, there is a performance, if I’m not mistaken the title of the show is “Dracula’s Love.” If you want to see this kind of performances or maybe parade, you can check the schedule in the board that located in front of garden stage or maybe you could check it on the brochures.

After that, we went to The Conquistador (swinging boat). It took us about an hour or more to get into this ride, because there are so many people in Lotte World at that time.

Because we are too hungry, we went to Ogre’s Factory, and it turns out that Ogre’s Factory is Lotteria. After we ate our lunch, we tried several rides, like bumper car, Swing Tree, and Flume Ride. I think that Flume Ride is definitely worth to try. Even though that we waited almost like for 2 hours, but I think this ride is really fun.

FYI, there some of the rides that required you to use “Magic Pass.” If you have Magic Pass, you can try more rides, and also making reservation to use some rides in Lotte Adventure Rides, so it’s definitely saving your time rather than waiting in the line to try the rides.

After that, there is a parade at 8 PM, so we went there and watched the parade, which I think is really cool and amusing.

Since, we don’t know what to do anymore, we decided to see Super Moon which located in Seokchon Lake (석촌호수). Super Moon will be floating in Seokchonhosu Lake from September 1-October 3, 2016, so if you have the time probably you want to see Super Moon. To get there, you just have to go outside from Lotte World and go behind the Lotte World Building (the one that has Aquarium inside it).

If you are interested, you can also buy super moon souvenir on their shop. I bought this miniature of super moon and I think it’s very cute! The light can also change color like the real super moon. It costs 18,000 KRW for 1 lamp.

P.S.: If you are Muslims and need to pray, I saw on the brochure that Lotte World Adventure has prayer room, so if you need to pray, you can pray in that room.
