Still in my Chuseok series, my friends and I decided to go to some museums near Gyeongbok Palace (경복궁). The first museum is National Folk Museum of Korea. During Chuseok, this museum provides several events that we can enjoy, for example Hanbok (Korean Traditional Clothes) experience for free!:) or also we can try to make hairband and many more.

The museum is providing us with some Korea relics from ancient times, which is I found it really fascinating.

Oh! And there is no entrance fee to go to this museum and this museum is really nice:)
At the outside of the main hall of museum there are some Korean shops replica from probably around 80s or 90s era which I found it really cool. There are some place that we can get in, for example the coffee shop, they are providing us with free coffee, but it is limited, because they only served about 200 cups a day. Also there is some kind of photo studio, if you go there you can try Korean high school uniform for free.

After that, we went to National Museum of Contemporary Art. Since (again) it’s Chuseok, we don’t have to pay for the entrance fee, but usually it costs about 4000won.

This museum is divided into 8 exhibitions hall, and since (again) it’s Chuseok, they held a special event where they gave us a flyer and we should find all 6 stamps inside this museum, and if we able to complete it we can get free candies, but unfortunately when I went there, they run out of candies. But still, it was fun collecting all the stamps.

I strongly recommended for you, art lovers, to go to this museum, because this museum is providing us with such amazing artistic exhibitions.

Tired from walking around the museum, my friends and I went eating in restaurant nearby and we went to take some pictures in King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-Shin statues.

Finished with taking some pictures in there, we went to Cheonggyecheon Stream (청계천). This stream is very popular in Seoul. There are a lot of people who hang out in this place. There is also a place where we can throw a coin and make some wishes. Also, there is a laser performance in there, if you want to watch it you can check the schedule beforehand.

Thank you for reading my blog post this far and see you on my next post! :)
